Basic Requirements for armed security guards in Maryland:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- United States citizen or registered resident alien
- Drug testing (which may be ongoing)
- Pass criminal background check
- Must have good moral character
- Have not committed any acts of fraud
- Submit to fingerprinting
- Maryland driver’s License
- Good physical conditioning
- No mental instability
